Fun and unexpected!

Kevin's Point of View
Kevin Tobin is a relatively ordinary 12-year-old dealing with the aftermath of his father's death in a mountain biking accident near their home in Boulder, Colorado. To escape from his emotional turmoil, Kevin has developed his imagination into a dangerous foil and a powerful ally. While he antagonizes his sister through his superhero antics on an average Wednesday morning, his ability to escape inside a character's head become critical to his survival after his life is once-again turned upside down a year after his father's death.

A mysterious package arrives in the mail, Kevin and his best friend are hunted down by a ruthless villain set upon world domination, and after enlisting Kevin's teenage sister and her pizza-delivery boyfriend in a battle for control over time itself, the secret of Kevin's whole existence is revealed to him by a source we never expected.

Kevin's Point of View is a book packed full of humour and action! Yes, action! From the cover you wouldn't think that this book would contain such an extraordinary adventure or scenes that get your heart racing. Del Shannon has stunningly written an entertaining novel that will interest readers of all ages.

The story starts off fairly subtle, but then, our main character, Kevin, finds a parcel on his doorstep. It's a machine. He calls his partner is crime, Tony, to share this machine with him. Turns out, the machine is a lazer and a load of man men are after it! Soon, Kevin and Tony are on the run...trying not to get killed.

Sounds pretty awesome, right? That's because it is. I recommend this novel to everyone. Yes, everyone. It's such an easy story to fall into. The characters are enjoyable and you will love the journey that Kevin Tobin takes you on. There are lots of twists and turns that you won't suspect coming and surprises around every corner.

Overall, Kevin's Point of View is a book that everyone should try out. With enjoyable characters and an extreme plot, this book will make you wish you had such an exciting life!
