Alice Through the Zombie Glass (White Rabbit Chronicles, #2)Alice Bell has lost so much. Family. Friends. A home. She thought she had nothing else to give. She was wrong. After a new zombie attack, strange things begin to happen to her. Mirrors come to life, and the whispers of the dead assault her ears. But the worst? A terrible darkness blooms inside her, urging her to do very wicked things. She s never needed her team of zombie slayers more, but ultra bad-boy Cole Holland, the leader and her boyfriend, suddenly withdraws from her... from everyone. Now, with her best friend Kat at her side, Ali must kill the zombies, uncover Cole s secret and learn to fight the darkness.

But the clock is ticking...and if she fails at a single task, they're all doomed.

After absolutely loving Alice in Zombieland and everything it had to offer; I knew I would also enjoy the sequel,Through the Zombie Glass. And guess what? I was right! Through the Zombie Glass is the perfect mix of romance and zombies, I couldn't get enough. It's fast and slow pace brings you back into the strange zombie-polluted world and gives you the opportunities to become familiar with the characters once again.

This installment follows how Alice Bell is coping with being a zombie-slayer, living with her grandma after the death of her family, creating stronger bonds with friends, and managing her hot-ass boyfriend, Cole.

There was just enough romance to keep me swooning, and enough zombie attacks to keep me on the edge of my seat! Many have moaned about how it's lacking in the "spookiness" factor, but to be completely honest: there is so much going on in the story in terms of withheld information, character dilemmas, and the whole big juicy problem of: ALICE IS SLOWLY BEING TAKEN OVER BY HER INNER ZOMBIE. Does that not sound exciting?

Alice is struggling to keep this zombie side of her from taking over completely. It's frustrating and deeply saddening to see her slowly lose control of how she thinks and how she acts. But you know Alice and her gang, OF COURSE THEY'VE GOT TO KEEP KICKING BUTTTT AND OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM! So a lot of the book is about why this is happening and how it's happening.

Cole brought a lot of the entertainment factor to the book as he was always up for some sarcastic comments, humorous remarks, and naughty banter. I had to go over pages and lines and re-read thinking, "DID HE REALLY JUST SAY THAT?! Cheeky devil." He will bring a smile to your face for sure. However, I'm aware that some people don't like his protective personality and think that he's too controlling... Now come on, maybe you're over-analysing a bit now. Cole's a great character who is there to be cherished and enjoyed!

Apart from having Alice as a protagonist, who was daring and risky, which was good fun to read about; we also have Kat who is Alice's best friend. She cracked me up! She's strong and she doesn't care what anyone thinks about her because she is so sure of herself. I love her; and it's really hard not to! Throughout the book she has an "on and off" relationship Alice's fellow zombie-slayer Frosty; and their relationship is also very good fun to read about.

Through the Zombie Glass is a great follow-up sequel that I immensely enjoyed! The characters and gripping plot kept me turning pages until there was nothing left. Queen of Zombie Hearts should finish off the trilogy with a BAM!, if not, I shall be extremely shocked and disappointed as the story has been stunning so far and I would hugely recommend this book to those who want a fun and extremely enjoyable zombie-romance story!
